Not many are aware of Horwath Alice Springs long association with the Alice. It all started when Enzo Floreani decided to do tax returns back in the 70's with his wife Bernie.
They had a staff of one then, but before long the business expanded to the point where Enzo needed a business partner. Enter Robins Harris, regarded as the leading firm in Adelaide and founded by one of the most innovative and progressive accountants in Australia, Eric Robins. Together they formed Robins Floreani. In 1987, Andrew Maloney took a short stint in Alice to look after the clients requirements in house. The practice evolved to be PfA Chartered Accountants. Andrew remained with PfA until 2006.
Marc Loader became a major influence at PfA when he joined the firm in 1998. Completing his degree, and then becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Marc became a partner in 2005.
In 2006, Damian McGrath and Sean Loader became partners and the firm became known as PfA Alice Springs.
In 2008, PfA Alice Springs merged with Horwath Alice Springs. The new partners Marc Loader, Tanya Kirker, Sean Loader and Damian McGrath decided that the business should be known as Horwath Alice Springs.

Working with long term resident partners Marc Loader and Tanya Kirker, the firm has Damian McGrath heading up the tax department which includes Michael France, Brooke Fraser, Jacqui Koerner, Lisa Blakeley and Andrew Thomas.
